While the Tour de France will pass through Calvados in July 2025, the Vélo-club du bocage, based in Vire Normandie (Calvados), hopes to play a role in the excitement of the event. This involves major announcements, including the creation of a Cycling tour with other clubs in the department following the route of the Bayeux-Vire stage.

In eight months, the Tour de France will visit Vire Normandy (Calvados), the finish town of the sixth stage. The Vélo-club du bocage (VCB) intends to be part of the fervor surrounding the event which will take place on July 10, 2025. While the City has announced a certain number of events in the coming months in link with the Grande Boucle, Tuesday December 3, 2024, the sports club does the same. Starting with events that have already been in place for several years.
