Around thirty police officers from the Sûreté du Québec conducted searches in an apartment building in Roberval on Tuesday morning, where six suspects were arrested.
The event took place on Scott Street, in the city center of the Jeanne municipality.
Law enforcement officers seized 700 methamphetamine tablets, cocaine, illicit cannabis, bear spray, drug trafficking accounts and cell phones.
Six men aged between 30 and 60 were arrested following six simultaneous searches.
“The latter were released pending further proceedings. They could face charges of possession of narcotics and possession for the purpose of trafficking,” said the Sûreté du Québec.
Only Alain Dubé, 51, remained detained. He appeared at the Roberval courthouse in connection with several arrest warrants.
