The Nature et Verger fruit nursery opens its doors the next three weekends at the Sabart roundabout.
It offers more than 1,000 fruit trees available, in a large choice of old, rustic, local varieties and adapted to the altitude. The young trees are guaranteed to be grown in the mountains, without a tractor, in compliance with the specifications of the AB and Nature et Progrès labels. Bertrand Campy, the founder of the nursery, specifies: “The fruit trees are produced in Tarascon or Cabus, above Saurat, and dug up manually or with a ladle to guarantee optimal root hair.” The recovery after installation in the host site is thus carried out very smoothly.
During open days, a wide choice of varieties and rootstocks will be offered on site, as well as the new range, “trees of the 22nd century”.
To limit waiting time on site, it is advisable to reserve. In the event of multiple purchases, it is possible to request a quote. As for the list of available trees, it is detailed in the catalog on the site. Finally, Bertrand Campy monitors your tree, with advice on planting and maintenance, for a foolproof planting.
Meet Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations and contact on 06 16 81 29 65 (evening), or on natureetverger.fr
