If Christmas had a smell, it would be that of Mamiche. This year, the star bakery of the 9th is reviving its famous Christmas cookie box. The principle is simple: you go into one of the two shops, you choose your favorite cakes, and you leave happier than when you arrived.
The box ticks all the boxes: homemade biscuits with a captivating smell, a selection that will please both kids and demanding sweet tooths, and ultra-cute packaging by Odds Studio. In terms of recipes, we find the best-sellers that make you salivate every year, but also some new ones. On the fly, for example: the mini kouglof (a buttered brioche topped with raisins and rolled in cinnamon sugar), the thumbprint peanut and seed flavored cookies garnished with homemade raspberry jam, the crunchy cinnamon speculoos enhanced with a lemony icing, or the orange “Mims”, which combine airy sponge cake, citrus jam and chocolate topping.
The icing on the marshmallow: it's available until December 31, so perfect to slip under the tree (or to enjoy before overdosing on logs).
