A prestigious ceremony in the Oise salutes the art of municipal flowering

Friday November 29, 2024l’Oise Department Hotel hosted a colorful ceremony: the label’s awards ceremony “Flowering Towns and Villages”. This distinction, orchestrated by the Oise Departmental Council under the presidency of Nadège Lefebvre et Martine Borgooputs the spotlight on the commitment of municipalities and residents to enhance their living environment through flowering and respect for nature.

Between trophies, encouragement and sustainable initiatives, the 2024 vintage rewarded remarkable floral efforts, but also beautification projects part of a sustainable approach.

And the label “Flowering Towns and Villages” goes well beyond aesthetics: it symbolizes the attractiveness of a territory for its inhabitants, its visitors and its tourists. Of Gerberoyrewarded in the category of small municipalities (less than 199 inhabitants), for school initiatives such as those of theprimary school of Villeneuve-sur-Verberiethe entire department proudly displays its gardening talents.

Each flower, flower bed or balcony contributes to shaping a visual identity, but also to sustainably integrating biodiversity into the daily lives of residents.
