Sunshine across the entire island at daybreak this Tuesday. Before noon, the cover takes possession of the interior of the island. At the beginning of the afternoon, precipitation affects the sides of the volcano, before sliding towards the coast between Saint-Joseph and Saint-Leu. The heat does not weaken. Thermometers climb to 32°C at Étang-Salé-les-Bains and Saint-Pierre.

The sun shines brightly from the early hours of Tuesday, December 3, 2024. This radiant weather continues all morning on the coast. “The slope clouds then take over in the second part of the morning and end up invading the entire interior”writes Météo- La Réunion.

At midday, the weather becomes rainy in the wild South and the volcano. These showers slide over the hours towards the coast between Saint-Leu and Saint-Joseph where they will be more moderate. The sun does not disappear from the western, northern and eastern coastlines. The capital benefits from bright weather all day long.

The general flow is relatively modest this morning, and a little more moderate this afternoon. “The trade winds accelerate (Editor’s note: this afternoon) along the North-West coast and the South-Wild, with gusts of between 50 and 60 km/h. A regime of breezes remains everywhere, elsewhere”specify the forecasters.

Summer temperatures do not recede, “with 29 to 32°C on the coast, 24 to 27 in the Cirques, 18 to 20 degrees above 2000 meters”.

Nothing special on the sea side. It is generally not very choppy and slightly choppy between Sainte-Rose and Grande-Chaloupe by a 1.50m swell and wind in the second part of the day.
