Hervé Becquart, the director of the Haut de Versac center in Coteaux du Lizon, admits to having received “zero applications” for many months, despite his incessant research, and according to his needs. He tries to “bend over backwards” to try to attract future candidates. In his words, “Covid revealed many things that already existed”. Today, people want to give but also receive. In the health sector, this translates into a (legitimate) “I want to take care of others, but also of myself”. “So, as an employer, we must adapt. And that’s normal,” he confides.
