The national jury of the competition rewarded the traders and sports clubs who had joined forces to compete. An example of the strength of the collective.

To display its spirit of initiative and ward off a lackluster summer, the association of merchants, artisans and industrialists of Gaillac (AGACI), decided to participate in a competition organized by the National Federation of Town Centers, “Les Showcases of ”. The annual theme of the competition necessarily associated businesses, sports clubs (reference to the Olympic Games) and a heritage visual. “In the file, it was indicated that we had to attach a photo, a text of between 400 and 600 words, and that we had to send the jury a series of photos of the activities that we conducted or in which we participated” indicated Cathy Raynal, co-president of the association with Nathalie Brandin. The deliberations took place between September 3 and 24. The photo by Raynaud Photo was taken from a drone and represented a circle of participants lying in varying positions around the Griffoul fountain, the city's totem. Several sports clubs joined the initiative: basketball, majorettes, table tennis, judo, self-defense, rugby, football, karate, boxing and handball. This risk-taking was crowned with success, since the AGACI received the “Coup de Cœur” from the Vitrines de France jury. “This will give our association an advertising campaign offered to it on two screens. A communications agency will take care of it. We don't have any more details yet on the modalities, but it's a good thing news for the city. AGACI, which has more than one hundred and twenty members and newcomers since the start of the school year, has an exclusive community manager, Aurélien, from Agence X, who manages the Facebook and Instagram pages. “We also have several WhatsApp groups which facilitate the circulation of information. There are eleven of us in the office and eleven to vote on all the choices that involve the association” explains Cathy Raynal to signify internal democracy and the strength of the collective. The AGACI events have been a great success since the spring with the fashion show on April 24, the return of the window competition for the Wine Festival, the “Winning Saturdays” in September, the Primeur in November which becomes a institution on Thursday evening at Place de la Libération. The punch line of the association “Gaillac, it’s moving!!!” finds concrete and clearly visible applications in each season.
