After the call for applications which was launched by the City of Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) last October, the business Media library brewerylocated
avenue du Père-Léonid-Chrol, is transferred. This is the SARL Masco who is given the keys.

“The project presented by the future managers meets the criteria of the call for applications
of the City”, specifies the municipality, with, in particular, a large place given to circuits courts for the establishment's daily supplies of fresh produce.

Staff will remain in place

The SARL also wishes to favor partners committed to a sustainable development approach. Previously existing staff will be retained and managers are committed to promoting employment, while collaborating with neighborhood associations and other social actors for hiring or for immersion internships.

The business is transferred by the City to the SARL, for a amount of €80,000 excluding tax.

As a reminder, in line with the “City Heart Action” framework actionthe City of
Montauban had, last June, extended its right of pre-emption,
has the eastern town entranceestablishing a new perimeter for safeguarding the
local commerce and crafts.

Approach which aims to encourage the reconquest of wasteland and to occupy
vacant premises, while analyzing needs: competitive risk such as
creation of any new commercial zone, while avoiding harming the
city ​​center commerce.
