For 18 months, companions from the Thouars-based Asselin company took an active part in the reconstruction of Notre-Dame de cathedral. Their know-how was particularly required for the manufacture of the oak decorations for the openwork levels of the spire. On the occasion of his last visit to the cathedral construction site this Friday, November 29, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron will thank all the companions, patrons and contributors to the construction site who made this reconstruction challenge possible in five years indicates the Deux-Sèvres prefecture.
