It was a scene that was, to say the least, unusual, to which the inhabitants of Clermontin the center of Oise, yesterday Tuesday November 26.
In the middle of the afternoon, around thirty hunting dogs who initially participated at a wild boar huntr in the neighboring forest of Hez-Froidmont, found themselves near homes in the middle of the afternoon.
The animals, which belonged to a hunting crew, rushed into the city at full speed, wreaking havoc in the Sables district. This unusual chase required the mobilization of the gendarmes, whose barracks are located right next door.

The incident particularly caused a reaction on social networks. “Oh the crazy thing, right in the neighborhood. So where is the world going? », Comments this Internet user.
Some witnesses to the scene even managed to immortalize this moment of extreme confusion on Facebook. “I saw a wild boar near the McDonald's at 3:30 p.m., going to take refuge in the courtyards of houses, with 4 dogs on its heels at that time,” testifies this resident.
One of these videos shows around twenty dogs, chasing the hunted beast in a garden. “Posted from my kitchen,” captioned an amateur videographer.
Some dogs cross the RN 31
Wandering dogs on the roadway were also seen on the dual carriageway of the RN 31, around 4 p.m. This required traffic to be interrupted for almost half an hour to avoid any accident.
“Given the traffic flow, we actually wanted to avoid any accident, which forced us to block part of the Nationale 31,” confirms a gendarmerie officer at Oise news.
