A 50-year-old man was arrested in Donnemarie-Dontilly, a small town located in Seine-et-Marne, on November 19, 2024. He is suspected of having committed rape and sexual assault on eleven minor girls between 1991 and 2012. The information was revealed by the newspaper The Republic of Seine-et-Marne then confirmed to Parisian.
The gendarmes opened an investigation this summer after a complaint filed by a woman, who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by her neighbor when she was a minor. A few days later, another woman went to the gendarmerie to file a complaint and confided that she had been raped by her father as a child.
Looking for other potential victims
The soldiers quickly realized that the man implicated by these two women was the same. Their investigation then made it possible to identify nine other victims who were interviewed. The fifty-year-old was arrested at his mother's home, with whom he lived, and placed in police custody. He initially denied the facts.
“Then he ended up admitting all the facts with which he is accused regarding the eleven victims who filed a complaint”indicates a source close to the investigation in the columns of the Ile-de-France daily. Unknown to the courts until now, he was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention. The investigation continues to identify other potential victims.
