Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier. Maud Lefèvre’s Plastic Arts workshop is very well attended. Maud Lefèvre’s visual arts workshop is well attended, as the library has become too small to accommodate the twenty or so participants.

Now well established in the town hall’s performance hall, the artists meet on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. “I’m delighted to see so many people interested,” said the young woman. She continued: “We’re in a very bright room, with space, it’s perfect.”

Emulation collective

After a first session on lines, a second on shapes, the third took Maud’s students on the path of colors. “With a proposal for common work, we arrive at different results. At the end of the workshop, we look at the works produced. What emerges is a collective emulation, without a spirit of competition or confrontation,” concluded the visual arts teacher, before thanking the municipality for the support provided at each session.

“It’s a chance to have such quality free entertainment,” one of the students pointed out, while another specified that it was a form of therapy. “Working in peace and quiet allows us to clear our heads,” added a final person. Pascal Tisseron specified, for his part, that the workshop was free for all and that it was not reserved for Saint-Pierre residents.

In fact, people of all ages come from Sancoins, Livry and Chantenay-Saint-Imbert. The sessions will continue on Wednesdays July 10 and 17.
