After the first round of the legislative elections, in which the National Rally came out on top on Sunday, a meeting is being held this Wednesday in Paris “against the rise of the extreme right” and “the erasure of the crimes of October 7, 2023.”

Standing up to anti-Semitism and for the Republic. Four days before the second round of the legislative elections, scheduled for Sunday, July 7, and three days after the RN’s victory over the New Popular Front and the presidential majority, a meeting is being organized this Wednesday in Paris “against the rise of the extreme right and anti-Semitism.”

Among the participants, there were several political and public figures such as former Prime Minister Manuel Valls, philosopher Raphaël Enthoven, Imam Hassen Chalghoumi, as well as the president of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF), Yonathan Arfi and the new Israeli ambassador to France Joshua Zarka, present at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris (5th arrondissement) to participate in a time of discussion.

Organized by the citizen collective Agir Ensemble, this meeting will be held at 7 p.m. and will carry several strong messages, including opposition to “the erasure of the crimes of October 7” committed in Israel by the terrorist group Hamas, as well as the fight against “hatred of Jews” and of the Hebrew state.

Notably, Mosab Hassan Youssef, son of the preacher and co-founder of Hamas Hassan Youssef, will also be present at this event.

The 46-year-old man, a refugee in the United States, had helped Israel during the second Intifada (2000-2005), by providing information to the IDF.
