The outgoing Renaissance MP for the first constituency of Côte-d’Or claims to unite the votes of “all progressives, democrats and republicans.”

Press release from Didier Martin dated July 2, 2024:

Last Sunday, 13,830 of you voted in my name. I sincerely thank you.

With 27.48% of the votes, you allowed me to reach the second round, ahead of the National Rally, a few votes behind the PS-LFI candidate.

Having come in first place in the majority of the constituency’s municipalities and having a very strong reserve of votes from the Republican right, I am in a position to win next Sunday.

Faced with the deleterious choice between the Mélenchonist left and the Le Penist candidate, I am supporting the candidacy of the republican forces who want to build a society of peace and progress for our country.

So I call on all progressives, Democrats and Republicans, all those who reject extremes, to rally around my candidacy.

I would like to thank the many mayors and elected officials in the constituency who show me their confidence every day, as well as President François Sauvadet for his strong support.

You know my involvement alongside you and my commitment to the region, to our vital forces and to our common values.

Sunday July 7, vote against populism and for the Republic.
