The City of Saint-Herblain met on Monday, June 24th in municipal council. The various subjects discussed during the meeting were, among others, the following:

Supplementary budget 2024

Out of 40 voters, with 7 against from the Saint-Herblain en Commun group, the municipal council approved the supplementary budget, relating to the city’s main budget. The amounts entered are €12,555,596.85 in investment and €19,739,128 in operating. The actual expenditure adjustments (excluding balances to be carried out, allocation of the carried forward result and balancing provisions) represent €457,577.86 in operating and €1,115,699 in investment, or 1.63% of the 2024 initial budget.

Convention TETRA

The municipal council approved the signing of the agreement to provide the TETRA metropolitan digital radio network infrastructure to the municipalities of Nantes, Saint-Herblain, Vertou and Rezé. To secure and make its means of communication reliable across its entire geographical area, Nantes Métropole has chosen a radio communication system using TETRA technology. This radio infrastructure is particularly suited to the communication needs of municipal police forces, with other uses remaining possible. The agreement to pool the TETRA digital radio network infrastructure between Nantes Métropole and the municipalities of Nantes, Saint-Herblain and Vertou will expire on December 31, 2024. The City of Rezé has requested to join this pooling in 2024, which is why Nantes Métropole is proposing to renew the agreement immediately by including the City of Rezé.

Exceptional grant to MTTH

Despite the nine abstentions from the Saint-Herblain en commun and Saint-Herblain d’abord groups, the municipal council granted the Moto tout-terrain herblinois (MTTH) association an exceptional subsidy for the year 2024, for an amount of €12,690.

Before the city decided to close the Tougas motocross site on November 14, 2022, the Moto tout-terrain Herblinois association had incurred study costs for the reconfiguration of the site, so it is requesting a grant of €12,690 from the city.
