The biggest music event in Normandy with 150,000 spectators, it’s sold out, the Beauregard festival near Caen (Calvados) is rather used to slipping through the cracks. Except in 2012, in 15 editions, the garden party in the Hérouville Saint-Clair park has not been disrupted by rain.

Rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday

This year, from Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 July 2024, Météo France’s forecasts are, however, hardly optimistic. Particularly for the weekend with risks of precipitation in the form of showers on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July.

Little sun and not hot

For the other three days, summer will not be there either. A cloudy sky will hide the sun on Wednesday and Friday. Only Thursday will be brightened by clear spells.

Not very warm and windy

Temperature-wise, it’s not great with highs between 18 and 20° and the wind will also be there, with gusts of 45 and 50 km/h from Wednesday to Saturday inclusive.

Editorial advice

For this edition, a priori, forget the summer dress code of t-shirt, shorts, flip-flops. Opt instead for pants, a little wool, rainwear/windbreaker. But one thing is sure, the party will be there, that’s the main thing.
