A week before the first round of early legislative elections on June 30, 2024, 450 people demonstrated in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) against the far right.

No parade in the streets

A new call for mobilization against the extreme right, this Tuesday, July 2, was launched by the inter-union (CFDT, CGT, FO, FSU, Solidaires, Confédération paysanne, Unsa).

The gathering place: the Esplanade de Gaulle, in the center of Rennes. Around 400 people have been gathered since 6 p.m.

There should be no parade in the streets. The participants came to express their refusal to see the National Rally have a majority in the National Assembly, on the evening of the second round of the legislative elections, this Sunday, July 7. The people gathered also want to mark the union union on the rejection of the extreme right.
