Saint-Denis-de-l’Hotel. A beautiful exhibition on temptation at the cultural center. This year, for its photo competition that took place from January to May, the Maurice Genevoix Dionysian culture and animation association (ACAD-MG) had chosen temptation as its theme. The organizers received about a hundred works, which are exhibited at the cultural center until the end of August.
On Saturday, during the opening, Dominique Rüttimann, president of the association, congratulated the photographers and praised their work, while regretting the unusual low participation.
“The theme was perhaps too difficult or our competition is generating less interest. We will think about it. In any case, the photos exhibited are magnificent and enhanced by frames that were lent to us by the Loury club. They bring a beautiful unity.”
The president also reminded that residents, visitors and holidaymakers can enjoy, until September, the photographic walk along the banks of the Loire (from the port to the entrance to Henri-Coullaud Park) on the theme of “What a story”.
The prizes were then distributed. The prizes for the best work and the municipality (at least three photos presented) were awarded to Pierre Pedelmas. The prizes for the best color photo and the best black and white photo were awarded to José Pires-Dias. And the prize for the best club went to l’Image abbatienne.
Practical. Exhibition open during the week during the cultural center’s opening hours; Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
