Damien Robitaille and his group delighted the audience for Canada Day tonight in La Malbaie, the largest crowd recorded this summer so far at Parc du Havre.
The Franco-Ontarian delivered his greatest hits with a pinch of good humor and good humour. I fall, Password, EMERGENCY EXIT et Full of love were on this list. He also took the time to cover some songs in his own way, as he did during the pandemic on his social networks.
The contact between the crowd and the artist was made from the first moments of the evening. He asked the audience to clap their hands, or even to sing along with him. He even
True to form, the management of Cultures et Loisirs de La Malbaie did not want to give an estimate of the crowd. If the Gars du Nord brought nearly 3,500 people to the Parc du Havre site last Monday, there were even more this evening at this show.
The mayor of La Malbaie, Michel Couturier, was apparently happy to see so many people present at Parc du Havre for Canada Day.
Alain Tremblay did well in the first part. The singer-songwriter from L’Isle-aux-Coudres delivered a mix of hits and pieces from his repertoire.
The festivities ended with fireworks that lit up the Malbéen sky.
The next show on the Le Havre stage is scheduled for Friday, July 12, when Les Sœurs Boulay will perform in La Malbaie. Les Bergeron will be the opening act.
