Volotea launches its new route to Calvi from Strasbourg
The airline of the European regional capitals announces the inauguration of its new connection from Strasbourg airport to the Isle of Beauty. Successful operations for this first connection which adds to the 26 routes already in effect.
Volotea, the airline of European regional capitals, continues its development from Strasbourg airport by inaugurating a new route to Calvi, in Corsica. From now on, Alsatian passengers can book their tickets to discover this magnificent destination.
On June 1st, Strasbourg residents had the opportunity to fly to the renowned Corsican town of Calvi, known for its citadel, marina and fine sandy beaches. With one flight per week, every Saturday, and more than 6,800 seats available, Volotea offers Strasbourg residents the opportunity to discover the rich cultural and natural heritage of this sunny destination.
This new Franco-Corsican route confirms the relevance of the airline’s offer, which already serves 9 countries from Strasbourg (Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Morocco, England, Portugal and Germany) for a total of 27 routes.

Since the opening of its base in Strasbourg in 2015 and a number of passengers transported which will be close to 5 million in September, Volotea has positioned itself as one of the most important airlines at Strasbourg Airport in terms of network and strengthens its presence in the region. For this year, the company plans to increase its offer by 29% compared to 2023, which will make it possible to offer nearly a million seats to travelers.
