In a church or a priory, but also in a swimming pool, a museum and an equestrian center…: the Itinérance summer program, offered by Grand Poitiers in partnership with the Énergies Vienne union, has the principle of combining art and heritage, in the urban community territory. For the 2024 edition, eight dates are planned, from July 6 to August 31, during which local, regional and national artists will perform.

Saturday July 6: heritage and music in Pouillé. In the morning, inauguration of the restoration of the church by the municipality; at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., dramatized guided tours in the town center; at 7 p.m., concert by the group Nod, five Poitevin musicians who carry “positively edgy music”.

Saturday July 13: music and storytelling in Sainte-Radegonde. At the slow pace of a tractor, Yannick Jaulin and his musicians travel through the region to offer a friendly and festive moment around intangible heritage. In the town center, at 6:30 p.m., A country that laughs in the bellyaperitif-chat hosted by Yannick Jaulin; at 8:30 p.m., concert, Yannick Jaulin and the Saint-Rock project.

Saturday July 20: traditional music in Jaunay-Marigny. At the priory of Jaunay-Marigny, at 3:30 p.m., Briefs from Bayan with Zabou Guérin (accordion); at 5 p.m., The Family Ballchildren’s ball with Ma Petite; at 6 p.m., Poitou beef by the Pictonsound association; at 8 p.m., traditional dance with Ciac boum.

Saturday July 27: urban cultures in Migné-Auxances. In the courtyard of the music school, from 2 p.m., graffiti (artists Möka and Lüle), screen printing (Fatmat); at 3 p.m., participatory and sporting show Smooth casting (Cie Bells and whistles) ; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., battle and breakdance demonstration followed by the show Hide and Seek of the Cie FATHER.

Saturday August 3 : music and glass crafts in Curzay-sur-Vonne. At the Stained Glass Museum, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., free opening and glass painting demonstrations with artist Marina Gélineau; from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., guided tour of the exhibition Reversible.

In the church, at 4 p.m., guided tour; at 5 p.m., glass harmonica concert by the artist Thomas Bloch.

Friday August 9: music in Bonnes, in partnership with the Saxophone en Mouvement Festival. Church and exteriors, at 5:30 p.m., musical stroll; at 8 p.m., concert by the duo Eric Seva and Daniel Mille.

Saturday August 24: heritage and street arts in Chauvigny. At the Tournesol swimming pool site, at 2:15 p.m., “Tournesol swimming pools” workshop tour, in partnership with the Maison de l’architecture; at 4:30 p.m., show Public bathtub (Cie Cirque Compost); at 6 p.m., concert by the Bokale brass band.

Saturday August 31: street arts in Mignaloux-Beauvoir, programming around horses and riding. At the equestrian center, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., guided tours; at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., show Horsemen (Cie The Goulus); at 6 p.m., show Chevâl (Cie Paris Benares).
