The facts are chilling. A 60-year-old man died in the night from Sunday to Monday after falling from the 9th floor of a Parisian building located in the 14th arrondissement, as reported The Parisian.

His son, aged 28, who is suspected of having pushed him, was taken into custody by the police. He admitted the facts and an investigation into intentional homicide was opened by the Créteil public prosecutor’s office (Val-de-Marne).

Already known to the police for violence against his ascendant

The investigation will have to determine the exact circumstances that led to the tragedy. According to the elements collected by The Parisianan argument between the father and son allegedly broke out, requiring the intervention of the police to make the latter leave the premises.

But after the police left, the son allegedly forced his way into the apartment on Rue de Gergovie before throwing his father out of the window. Emergency services were unable to resuscitate the father.

The suspect, already known to the police in particular for cases of violence against relatives, was arrested with difficulty near his home, located rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine, in the 11th arrondissement of the capital. Furthermore, the young man suffers from psychological problems.
