Fouzia Bouhassane, assistant principal of the Montmajour Hubert Baudouin high school, initiated several projects throughout the 2023-2024 school year linked to the “pHARe” anti-harassment program, in which around a hundred students participated. of the vocational education section of the establishment. All sectors and levels participated in the national and regional competition for this program, then an internal competition was organized, led by their teacher Christelle Khamallah. “The idea was to produce a poster by creating a slogan or visual that aims to make people think about the issue of bullying in all its forms.explains the latter. The students were invited to think about all the words they associate with the notion of harassment, then, more generally, to the following questions: How does it happen? What remedies are there to deal with it? Is it possible to live together while being different?

In the end, around fifteen posters which perfectly respected the constraints of precise specifications were pre-selected and were exhibited at the CDI (documentation and information center) with all the student productions.

Creating a listening point

Karim, in the professional baccalaureate in commerce, and Aymen, in the first of the same sector, were crowned by a jury made up of students from the high school life council as well as the entire educational community. They were recognized with a prize on June 17.

Aymen, obviously very invested in this project and in the creation of his poster, was particularly interested in cyberharassment which, according to him, is the most frequent in a school establishment. The young man produced a road-type “Stop” crossed out with a word of Arabic origin, “la hagra”, which means “harassment”, underlined with a sentence: “The power of empathy is stronger than that of intimidation“.

This program implemented in the establishment also includes the creation of a listening point entrusted to adult volunteers trained for this mission.
