Make no mistake, it’s not just the Cannes Film Festival that turns the Croisette upside down when the sun comes out. Here, every summer since 2006, the Les Plages Électroniques festival takes over the Palais des Festivals, from the rooftop to the beach, with wild concerts and DJ sets. This year is no exception to the rule, the festoche event on the Côte d’Azur is back from August 16 to 18 for a new supercharged edition which will not give us any respite. From 2 p.m. until 5 a.m., meet up to fill up on sun, fine sand, music, cocktails, good vibes from the South…
Feet in the water, head in the sound
What awaits us? 3 days of celebration, 40,000 m2 of dance floor6 scenes, after parties until 5 a.m. and more than 90 artists… In short, one of the biggest beach parties in Europe! And if you’re still hesitant, the headliners may well convince you. Because one thing is certain, it’s heavy: In Kaytrana, Boris Brejcha, Feder, Lost Frequencies, Fisher, Timmy Trumpet, Boris Way, Mosimann… On the made in France side, we will find Good Listener, SCH, Gauze, Sarah Coast, Mountain Honey or PPJ.

A host of concerts and DJ sets spread over several stages: beach, rooftop and terrace of the Palais des Festivals will be held, with a little novelty, the Centrale/Riviera scenea circular space which benefits from a breathtaking view of the bay of Cannes and the old port. The height of fun.
A festival that ticks all the boxes
So you’ll have understood, there’s no question of forgetting sunscreen, sunglasses and a swimsuit, since this edition of Plages Électroniques promises to be very, very hot! There’s also no question of forgetting to hydrate, which is why the festival is offering this year a bunch of free water holes to keep the fishing going in any circumstance. Another new feature: a prevention stand supported by Sound Sisters, SAFER, Enipse and Nous Toutes 06 in order to raise awareness and support potential victims of sexual and gender-based violence, with volunteers and professionals available.
Electronic Beaches therefore always aim higher and aim vocation to evolve by taking into account the major challenges of our timeso that we can all enjoy ourselves in the best possible way. And if with all that, you still haven’t rushed to the site to get your tickets for 1, 2 or 3 days (with or without after, no one judges here), we don’t know what to tell you anymore. In any case, we will be there!
