TENNIS: The TC Le Creusot OPEN tournament ended with 2 Creusotins adding their names to the list

The finals took place this Sunday at the René Besset hall in Riaux due to threatening weather conditions.

This Sunday, June 30, the summer tournament of the Le Creusot tennis club ended. A total of 101 entrants grouped into 5 categories:

The 5 finals were held indoors due to bad weather.

– In Senior Women’s Singles, Julie Maupas ranked 15/3 won the tournament. She was up against Nathalie TUISON from Tennis Creusot, ranked 30.

Julie from TC de CHARNAY LES MACON wins with a score of 6/0 and 6/4

Note the brilliant performance of Nathalie TUISON in the semi-final which she won 6/4 and 6/4 against Chaumont Lola ranked 15/5

– In senior men’s singles, Meryl GENÉVRIER (from CAPDENAC TENNIS CLUB) ranked 1/6 wins the final against Kénaël MUCCI (from Le Creusot tennis club) ranked 15/1 with a score of 6/3 and 6/0.

Note the good performance of Kénaël in the semi-final against GALLOIS KILLIAN (from LONGVIC ALC) ranked 4/6.

– In the 35-year-old men’s singles, Jean-Charles PACOTTE (from Le Creusot Tennis Club), ranked 15/2, won against Mathieu DEBASTOS (LE BREUIL ST SERNIN) ranked 15/4 with a score of 6/2 and 6/ 0

– In the 45-year-old Men’s Singles, Eric MUCCI (from the Creusot Tennis Club) ranked 15/4 came out on top against Anthony RIBEIRO (from the Creusot Tennis Club) ranked 15/5 with a score of 7/5; 4/6 and 7/5

Noteworthy is Athony’s performance in the semi-final, beating a player ranked 15/4

– In the 55-year-old Gentlemen’s singles, Pierre RIOM (from SAINT RÉMI TC), ranked 30, won against Pierre FREJUS (from the Tennis club du Creusot) ranked 30/3.

Let us note the performance of Pierre FREJUS in the semi-final against Dominique GOUBY (from the Creusot tennis club) ranked 30/2.

Henri PENGUÉ, president of the Le Creusot tennis club, congratulated all the finalists. Underlined the importance of volunteers without whom nothing is possible, and to thank the referee judges (Fabrice DOUA, Eric MUCCI, Emmanuel GALLEZOT, Daniel JOBARD and Henri PENGUÉ) for all the work accomplished.
