Relive the illuminations of the Champs-Elysées with the strong image of the event which, like every year, will certainly go around the world!
Marc-Antoine Jamet, the director of the Champs-Elysées committee, announced this evening that he did not just want to “press the buzzer”. It is in this spirit that the party was adorned with a band of around fifty musicians before the highlight of the show: Santa, the DJ who closed the Paralympic Games.
An evening dedicated to the Olympics since Tony Estanguet was this year's sponsor. It was he who launched the illuminations, accompanied by Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris and Tessa and Ophélia, two little girls accompanied by the Petits Princes association.
A successful launch which was in full swing until late at night, to the great joy of the thousands of Parisians present to witness these unique illuminations in France.
