In these two municipalities of North-West Vendéehas -de-Cénéet Saint-Christophe-du-Ligneron, residents launched a challenge for the Telethon : make the most long sausage from Vendée. The record is held by Saint-Christophe-de-Ligneron, which in 2023 made a sausage 155 meters long.

In Bois-de-Céné, meet on Saturday November 30 at the Salle des Cigognes. The meat, prepared the day before the event by professionals and volunteers from local associations, will be put into casings on Saturday morning for cooking at the stroke of noon.

The sausage is pre-sold: you can order slices on HelloAsso at the price of 10 euros per meter.

In Saint-Christophe-du-Ligneron, a 200-meter sausage!

On the day of the Telethon, it will be possible to enjoy it in the form of sausage/fries or pancakes.

In Saint-Christophe-du-Ligneron, volunteers plan to make a 200 meter long sausage. The event is organized by the Festival Committee, also on November 30. Meet at the Reinet sports complex. Volunteers will cut fresh slices at retail. At the same time, several activities are planned: dancing, figure skating, walking lessons, belote competitions, karaoke, etc.
