Around 12:30 p.m., Friday November 22, a violent fire declared himself in the commune of Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas in the north of Gard.
A burning dump truck
When they arrived on site, the firefighters discovered that the fire concerned a dump truck parked inside a hangar. 450m² belonging to a local carpentry company.
Despite the very rapid intervention of several dozen firefighters, the flames ravaged the truck as well as a utility vehicle located nearby.
Neither propagation nor victim
The spread to other buildings of the Gard company was avoided, thanks to the action of the 24 firefighters involved in this intervention.
Fortunately, no casualties is to be deplored following this fire. Firefighters remained on site for more than two hours.
