The prefect of Bas-Rhin prohibits festive gatherings such as “rave parties” in the department from November 22 to 25.
An unauthorized “rave party” type musical gathering is likely to be organized in Bas-Rhin during this period. To date, no prior declaration has been filed with the Bas-Rhin prefect.
Given the risks of disturbance to public order and public tranquility that the holding of such a gathering presents, the prefect of Bas-Rhin has decided, by prefectural decree, to prohibit the holding of festive gatherings of a musical nature. “rave party”, “free party” or “Teknival” type throughout the department from Friday November 22 at 7 p.m. to Monday November 25 at 8 a.m.
In addition, the transport of any sound or amplification equipment likely to be used for the aforementioned events is prohibited.
The circulation of heavy goods vehicles of more than 3.5 tonnes GVW and light utility vehicles is prohibited on all road networks (national road network and secondary road network) of the Bas-Rhin department for vehicles transporting equipment likely to be used for such an event, in particular for sound systems, sound systems, amplifiers, for the same period.
Failure to comply with these measures is punishable by sanctions provided for in Article R. 211-27 of the Internal Security Code and may result in the seizure of the material for a maximum period of six months, with a view to its confiscation by the judicial court.
