Youssouf Fofana is getting closer to Italy. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport the AS Monaco and French national team midfielder is expected to join AC Milan. A compensation of 25 million euros is being discussed.
The Rossoneri are looking to stabilize their defensive sector and would be won over by the 25-year-old player. While he has one year left on his contract with the club of the Rock, Fofana had already opened the door to a departure. Tracked by Arsenal and the Premier League, the French international (20 caps) has favored Serie A.

The Italian media outlet specifies that a three-year contract awaits him in Lombardy. Author of four goals this season in Ligue 1, nine in total in his career, Youssouf Fofana is preparing to leave the French championship for the first time. He will have played 176 matches there, with Strasbourg and Monaco.
