Violence against women: several gatherings planned in Vaucluse

Feminist associations are organizing several rallies and events this weekend to mark the International Day Against Violence Against Women, which takes place on November 25.

• Soirée “La Riposte”, Friday November 22 at the Scierie in Avignon, with stands, a concert by the feminist choir Les déferlantes and a sign-making workshop for the demonstration the next day.
• Manifestation Saturday November 23 against femicide, sexual violence and gender-based violence, from 3 p.m. in front of the Avignon court.
• Conference-debate Sunday November 24 at 5 p.m. around the question of consent at the Porte Saint-Michel theater, in Avignon.
• Gathering Monday, November 25 before the Avignon court, where the Mazan rape trialwith a torchlight vigil and a solidarity chain.
• Tribute Monday November 25 at Gisèle Pelicot in Mazan, organized by the Isofaculté association, which notably plans a flower laying and poetry readings.
