Seine-et-Marne is still placed on Orange snow/ice alert by Météo-France this Friday, November 22, 2024 morning. Patches of ice are still common on the roadways due to last night's frost. No significant events at this time. Extreme caution is recommended on roads, pavements and sidewalks. This afternoon, temperatures will rise, rain/snow showers possible. Be vigilant and postpone your travels when you can.
We remind you that the prefect of Seine-et-Marne issued this Thursday, November 21, a traffic restriction order still in force: – School transport is suspended all day. – Traffic speed is lowered by 20km/ h on all axes of the road network of the department of Seine-et-Marne. – Goods transport vehicles whose total authorized weight (PTAC) is greater than 7.5 tonnes are prohibited to carry out overtaking maneuvers.- Vehicles transporting dangerous materials (regardless of the GVWR) are prohibited from carrying out overtaking maneuvers. These restrictions occur in an Orange meteorological vigilance level, the situation may – depending on conditions and forecasts- be reassessed.
