Returning from their trip to Amiens this Tuesday, with a great victory in their pocket (0-3), Cédric Lepage's players have found some color. After having inflicted a scathing defeat in his own room on a team accustomed to scoring one or even two points during its matches, president Marc David could take a breath and look forward to the next events of this Pro B season.
The Villeneuvois table tennis players now have two home matches to play, in the space of three days, in their hall at the Myre-Mory complex.
A renewed morale
On the menu for this Sunday (4 p.m.), the promoted from Nationale 1, ATT Le Havre, which is making a good start to the championship by ranking 7e place. It is therefore with renewed morale that Olajide Omotayo and his teammates will approach this meeting. Collecting as many points as possible and getting out of the red zone at the bottom of the table is the objective set by President Marc David.
The PPCV players have ample means and to score 8 points (i.e. two victories) in the two upcoming matches would reassure the Villeneuvois president for the continuation of a homogeneous, exciting, but sometimes nervously trying championship.
