The Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel Beers, Wines and Terroir festival invites us to participate in its 5th edition, this weekend, at the Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel municipal park, behind the municipal building.

In order to properly celebrate this 5th edition, festival-goers will be treated to a record number of 40 exhibitors, 50% of whom are new.

A pop Friday awaits us with the Laurence Nerbonne show at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, at 7:15 p.m., it will be the turn of Quebec harmonica player, author, composer and performer Guy Bélanger, followed by the group Bodh’aktan on stage from 9:15 p.m. Sunday, at 2:15 p.m., Les Fils du Diable will come and set the place ablaze. To mark the 5th edition of the festival, a fireworks display will take place this Friday, starting at 10:40 p.m., on the river in front of Île du Moine.

The festival’s traditional 5 to 7, organized this year in collaboration with L’Effet Bœuf, will also take place this Friday. It is an activity of exclusive tastings, accompanied by beers, wines, spirits and appetizers, as well as music under a large marquee on the quayside by the river. Pre-sale tickets are already sold out.

In collaboration with the Sorel-Tracy and region tourist office, Eau Vive Québec and Passion Planches, Bières vins et terroir will offer, on Saturday, a first paddleboard race in the Sorel islands with departure and arrival on the site.

Remember that entry to the site is free. We are invited to purchase exchangeable tickets to obtain the official glass and festival bracelet which will be required by exhibitors to taste beers, wines and spirits. There will once again be Desjardins ATMs installed at the entrance to the site.

The glass and bracelet are on sale for $32 (taxes included). The cost of parking on site is $5.
