In a few months, it will be possible to bypass the town of Guimaëc. The municipal council approved the acquisition of new plots to continue the development of this itinéraire between Pont Pren, Runorven and Kermenguy.
The plots with a surface area of approximately 30,000 m² of the Bannier and Mel properties were negotiated at €0.50 per m².
The municipality will cover the costs of the acquisition. The land may be made available to a farmer.
A project in two stages
The Coquin de Plougasnou company is carrying out the work on the route between Bellevue, Pont Pren and Kermenguy. “If weather permits, the project should be completed by the end of 2024. In a second time, it will be necessary secure the Locquirec road to complete the loop. Other routes towards Moulin de la Rive are being studied. »
In the completed portions between Christ, Prajou and the village, barriers with firefighter access are being installed to prevent cars from driving on these routes, and causing ruts.
