And very impressive accident occurred this Tuesday, November 19 shortly after noon in Coursac, south of Périgueux (Dordogne). A black BMW did several barrels after being hit by a Renault Trafic on the road to Maraval, at the entrance to the town. The car dug up several blocks, completely bent an electrical pole and ended up on its sideright in the middle of the road.

The driver of the van, a 43-year-old Girondin, is believed to be involved. He was coming from the Valadet road. He explained to the police that he ran the stop sign because he wasn't focused, he was looking at his GPS. The forty-year-old hit the big sedan from behind, on the side.

There were two people in the car, a 66 year old man and a 65 year old womanoriginally from Hauts-de-Seine. The man quickly got out. The woman remained trapped for a moment before managing to get out, helped by firefighters. Neither of the two retirees is injured, but both complained of pain. Emergency services transported them to the Immediate Care Medical Center (CMSI) in Périgueux.
