This Tuesday, November 19, the court sentenced a hunter to eight months in prisonsentence which will be placed under an electronic bracelet. His hunting license was withdrawn with a ban on re-taking it for 10 years. A director of the beating was given a sentence of eight months suspended prison sentenceaccompanied by a definitive ban on exercising the role of hunt director. Both were recognized guilty of a serious hunting accident occurred in February 2017 in Simeyrols in Dordogne.

Serious injuries

That day, a hunter, aged 47 at the time, was shot by another hunter, from the region. The bullet entered his right buttock, passing through part of his body to his stomach. The hearing, which lasted more than five hourshad pointed out security shortcomings during the preparation of the hunt.
