Alioune Sall is Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs of Senegal, former PASTEF deputy, representative of the Senegalese of the Diaspora.
Senegal’s ruling party is heading towards an overwhelming majority in Parliament and Senegalese are now waiting for
the president and the prime minister use it to ease their daily lives and implement the agenda of rupture and social justice that propelled them to power eight months ago. Voters gave Pastef three-quarters of the seats in
the National Assembly, according to projections from various media based on provisional partial results.
The provisional official results should be known this Tuesday. Analysts put this result of the legislative elections to the credit of Ousmane Sonko, who would now have free rein to begin implementing his project.
According to Alioune Sall, the promises of change in all areas: economic, political and social, will be kept.
