At the call of the two main unions in the sector, FDSEA and Jeunes Agriculteurs, actions are taking place throughout France this Monday, November 18. And particularly in Isère. In Grenoble and in the north of the department, farmers have planned actions until 10 p.m.

In Grenoble, from the Porte de France to the Bastille
Around 5 p.m. this Monday, a dozen tractors went up to the Bastille, above Grenoble, after stopping at the Porte de France. In the Grenoble metropolis, farmers had set three meeting points earlier in the day in Saint-Egrève, Claix and Meylan. The tractors then converged on the Porte de France and the Bastille. They had been installed there since 3 p.m., from where they left towards the Bastille.
Cédric, poultry breeder in Poliénas, mobilized today against “the signing of Mercosur which must be done this evening“. L’Europe “I'm thinking of importing 190,000 tonnes of poultry so it will impact me hard“worries the farmer. Another subject of frustration, nothing has changed since the January blockages. The remuneration of Damien, a cattle breeder, has not improved: “At the level of supermarkets, we have an EGalim law which is still not respected. So on a daily basis, we are impacted by the sale of our products“.
The E tram cut
The Isère prefecture recommends this Monday evening that motorists avoid the Porte de France sector: “Significant traffic disruptions are expected this afternoon in Grenoble in the Porte de France sector. The E tram line is cut, shuttles are set up”, explains the prefecture on X.
In North Isère
In the north of the department, farmers have been mobilized in roundabouts in Chimilin, Rives and Sablons since 3 p.m. In Chimilin, in a roundabout located near the A43 motorway, at least seven tractors took their place this afternoon.
