Last week, no less than 122 territorial gendarmes, from all the units of the departmental gendarmerie group (motorized platoon, brigade communities of Delle and Belfort, research brigade and gendarmerie surveillance and intervention platoon), been mobilized in this context.
In the north
This time, the operation took place mainly in the north of the department. Nine municipalities in the sector (Étueffont, Anjoutey, Giromagny, Lepuix, Évette-Salbert, Sermamagny, Éloie, Romagny-sous-Rougemont and Rougemont-le-Château) were targeted this Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14, and Delle all week.
150 g of narcotics found
“In total, 566 vehicles were checked. And 39 offenses were noted,” figures this Sunday evening from Lieutenant-Colonel Sipp, deputy command officer (OAC) at the departmental gendarmerie group of the Territory of Belfort. It details: “Two drug detentions – 50 g of cannabis resin and 100 g of cocaine were found -, three drug driving offenses, one driving without a seat belt, two speeding violations, three insurance faults, one license fault , 17 technical inspection faults, three telephone uses, a flat tire and six miscellaneous infractions. »
The OAC specifies that this operation will be renewed between now and the end of the year and the beginning of next year.
