A serious accident involving three vehicles occurred in Lorient (Morbihan) on the night of Saturday November 16 to Sunday November 17, 2024. Shortly before 1 a.m., on the penetrating D465, at the Kervaric exit, towards Lanester, a vehicle traveling at high speed collided from behind with a car which, under the impact, veered into the other lane. She then hit a third vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
The passengers of the car hit from behind, two men aged 56 and 53, seriously injured, were transported to Scorff hospital in Lorient. The three occupants of the third vehicle, aged 44, 49 and 52, were slightly injured and also taken to hospital. Twenty-three firefighters from the Lorient and Hennebont centers were mobilized.
Driver arrested
According to our information, the driver of the vehicle in question tried to flee on foot but was arrested by BAC police officers.
