“The number of driving license inspectors in Côte-d'Or which should theoretically be 10.5 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) is today in reality 5 FTE for different individual reasons (sick leave, retirement , mutations, etc.). It's insufficient. This situation mechanically causes an abnormal lengthening of the waiting time to take the driving test. The first to be penalized are the students who often have to take additional lessons to maintain their skills, which represents a significant additional cost. Above all, many of them need the precious pink paper to accept a job offer or follow training. A driving license often remains synonymous with independence and freedom.

I therefore want to publicly raise this concrete problem, which affects the entire Côte-d'Or. I wrote to the new Prefect to alert him. »
