In Valence, Hympulsion inaugurates the first hydrogen station in Drôme
Operated by Hympulsion, the hydrogen station was inaugurated this Friday, November 15. A first for the Drôme department.

Located near the Valence-Sud toll, the Valence hydrogen station represents an investment of nearly 3.6 million euros. The seventh hydrogen station in the Hympulsion network, the installation was officially inaugurated this Friday, November 15 in the morning. An event which then continued at the Valence technocentre where vehicle demonstrations could be carried out with several stakeholders in the sector, including GCK, Hyvia and Hyliko.

The Valence station is part of a regional network which should ultimately reach 15 stations. Already operational in cities such as Chambéry, Moûtiers, or Clermont-Ferrand, new installations are planned in Salaise-sur-Sanne, Malatavernes and Aubenas by 2025.

An initiative widely supported by the region which, beyond supporting the stations, also finances the acquisition of vehicles. “ The Region has committed to putting 50 hydrogen buses into circulation within three years” recalled Jean-Christian Beaumont, Managing Director of Hympulsion, to Bleu.
