The entire radiology team at the Auch hospital center, through its GIE, an economic interest group, is mobilizing around one of its technicians. In a few weeks, Yannick will participate in the amateur marathon of the Olympic Games. He was indeed lucky to be drawn and will be among the 20,024 marathon runners who will complete the course, the day before the big Olympic race on August 10.
While waiting for this moment, all his fellow technicians, the radiologists and all the administrative staff encourage him in his preparation. We can add the support of Sylvie Lacarrière, the director of the hospital center, David Gonzalvo deputy director, and Jean-Pierre Belmas, administrator of the GIE Imega and marathon runner himself (he participated in the New York marathon in 2000 with around fifty Gers residents thanks to the CCI).
Yannick knows it: it’s not the first 42 kilometers that are difficult, it’s the last 195 meters. On that day, he will therefore wear the colors of the city of Auch and the hospital center. Objective: finish, regardless of the time achieved. ! He will also be there to have fun during one of the most beautiful events in the world, the Olympic Games, and in the most beautiful city in the world, Paris.
