A 170kg wild boar taken at caliber 20 in Charente-Maritime

So in the marsh in the middle of the town of Migron, around twenty hunters as well as the trackers and the pack of dogs prepare and set out to begin this day of hunting.

They first take a nice close-up of at least 20 minutes while tracking two wild boars who decide to leave the hunt. After 1h30 of a very good hunt, the larger wild boar of the two will take refuge in the Marais de Migron.

It was at this moment that the hunting president and his team decided to change their track and surround this wood. A very good idea because after a good 15 minutes of hunting, in this marsh, take out this monstrous wild boar weighing 169,500 kilos that the hunting president Mr. Damien BRCHET takes with his 20 caliber.

To remove this monstrous beast, it took 6 hunters who used all their strength and put the wild boar in the trailer of a tractor in order to be able to take it to the hunting cabin. “It looked like a wedding with the tractor in front and the cars following behind”

Beyond the regulatory aspect, it is an immense source of pride for the president, his team as well as the people who attended this hunt to have taken one of the largest wild boars ever seen in the town since the record was 153 kilos and perhaps in the surrounding communities as well.

Unfortunately, the wild boar will have slightly injured 3 dogs but the hunters will surely remember this day of hunting for a long time.

Damien and his son pose proudly! in front of this superb wild boar!
