A grayness still stubborn in the north
This Friday will start in the same way as the previous days, that is to say with often gray and foggy weather in a large northern half. These clouds will once again be tenacious and will have great difficulty dissipating in the afternoon north of a line going from Nantes to Lyon. Further south, the sun will dominate without any difficulty with just a few passing clouds in the Gulf of Lion. Temperatures will be stable, between -1 and 9°C when you wake up and between 7 and 19°C in the afternoon, from Langres to Ajaccio.
Saturday day will strongly resemble the situation of the day before with a country cut in two: the dominant color will still be gray north of the Loire while blue will dominate in the sky between New Aquitaine and the eastern borders. The only change compared to Friday: the wind shifting to the south-east in the Mediterranean, humidity will rise towards Languedoc with overcast weather and a few drops possible. Morning frosts will tend to increase with -2 to 0°C under cover in the central regions and towards the east. In the afternoon, the mercury will peak at 5-6°C in Lorraine compared to 18°C in the Basque Country.
Sunday, the weather will begin to change with the passage of a low activity disturbance from Hauts-de-France to the Jura. The sky will be overcast with scattered light rain in these regions. Further west, clouds will be in the majority and clearings will be shy while the sun will continue to shine from the Pyrenees to the Alps and as far as Corsica. Daybreak temperatures will change little while the maximums will increase slightly in the northwest.
Next week between rain, snow, wind and sleet
The weather situation will change between Monday and Tuesday due to the return of depressions over northern Europe as well as in the North Sea. Thus, a maritime polar flow will be established, with not only cold air, but also humidity. Several disturbances will cross the country with a timeline that remains to be defined at this time.
