THE museums of Tarn are offering a varied program for the rest of November, including two new exhibitions being presented at the Departmental Textile Museum and the Mine Museum.
Museum program
“Factory shutdown” exhibition – the departmental textile museum offers until November 30 an immersion in the history of the SARTISS factory through photos and sounds before its closure. A guided tour is planned for November 29 at 6 p.m.
Jean Jaurès at the Departmental Mine Museum : the departmental Mining Museum is organizing from November 19 to December 4 a tribute to Jean Jaurès and his work with miners for the 100th anniversary of his pantheonization, with a festive closing on December 4 for Sainte-Barbe, patron saint of miners, and a fire show.
Cayla Castle in the spotlight
Beyond the two exhibitions on offer, the Château de Cayla is offering, until November 30, free events and an autumn walk to discover nature, historical heritage and an outdoor orientation course.
