In 1991, the manufacture of their corn feeder, “with a very precise dosage”, helped to strengthen the competitiveness of the French foie gras palmipede industry. A few years later, the various crises in the sector considerably weakened the value of the company. To continue its activity, Dussau Développement was able to count on its design office, created in 2009, and on a prototyping workshop. “The marriage of the two allows us to respond to specific requests, close to tailor-made,” underlines Franck Bacheré.

The creation of a design office was decisive in the development of the company.

Simplify work

Development of a Méca-Pulse straw blower, a mulching robot or even their MG4 feeder, the objective is to “simplify the work of farmers, who face a shortage of labor”. Furthermore, the company is committed to ensuring that its machines work for a generation. “We don’t do planned obsolescence,” smiles the general manager.

With a turnover of 3.8 million euros in 2023, the company's desire is to continue its work with local or national suppliers. And to continue to grow. “We export to Eastern countries and, soon, to England. » In 2025, the company plans to launch a new straw blower on the market to further demonstrate its know-how.
