All the students at Paul-Langevin College, around 350, were involved, at various levels, in a charitable operation as part of Pink October.
Isabelle Laurian, nurse, in partnership with Océane Fournier, social worker and teachers, summarizes the approach: “The students organized a sale of objects, including some of their own making, cups, pins, bracelets, scarves, backpacks… Lots of practical little things for everyday use. All classes with teachers participated. This sale raised €500, three times more than last year, intended for the League Against Cancer. »
The check was handed over on Tuesday, in the presence of Céline Borgat, principal and Sophie Bellesort, assistant principal of the Raoul-Vadepied school campus, to Bernadette Perrot, vice-president of the League Against Cancer.
“These funds, always welcome, are intended primarily for Ateliers Miryam, which now have four centers in Mayenne and where specialists provide their skills to accompany and support patients. They are also intended for the social commission of the League”, explains Bernadette Perrot.
